Like many, my flute journey began with the listening to of an R. Carlos Nakai recording, specifically Changes, in 1993. However, I went a different direction, choosing to collect native flute recordings rather than playing. My playing journey began in late April 2001, when I finally settled down to learn the flute I had purchased several years previously. I discovered a whole new world of people, whose outlook and attitude on life was like mine. Everyone I contacted, whether well-known or little known, responded in a positive, supportive and friendly manner. It was like meeting up with old friends.
